Supported Employment in Action (SEA)

This Development Partnership aims to address the barriers faced by people with disabilities accessing and staying in employment. Thus the DP will bring together a partnership of key stakeholders and policy makers to strategically review the existing social and economic policies and practices relating to people with disabilities.

The DP will test bed the model of Supported Employment as an alternative to traditional vocational training and employment for people with disabilities.

Through the proposed transnational partnership the possibility of transferring or adapting the model of Supported Employment for other socially excluded groups will be explored.

Development Partnership Members:

- Northern Ireland Union of Supported Employment (NIUSE)
