About Digital Step

Co-ordinating the Digital Step Partnership, Dream Ireland Ltd is a research, development and consulting organisation for the creative industries with a particular focus upon the impact of digital technologies on learning, entertainment and commerce.

The Digital Step Partnership aims to address unequal access to the labour market for marginalise young people by developing new models for learning, training and employment in the area of digital media and popular culture. The project aims to pilot a series of innovative learning initiatives using animation, music, film, 3D technologies and video games to engage young people in the learning process and enhance their employability.

To this end, Digital Step has formed a Development Partnership consisting of organisations with an input to policy, access to the target group, experience of delivering innovative training initiatives and links to industry.
